The Vineyard
Our estate, El Vallecito is located in a unique and privileged region of Argentina, in Balcarce, Buenos Aires province. It is surrounded by a mountain range that belongs to the Tandilia System, one of the world’s oldest formations, dating back 2200 million years.
We take great care of all aspects of the production process, including training, pruning, grape loading, and defoliation. Always keeping our major aim in mind to produce high quality grapes while preserving the plant’s life in the long term.
The Winery
Our establishment has an overall capacity of 57,000 liters. White wines are produced using stainless steel tanks with minimum intervention in the cellar. To achieve a proper balance of concentration, structure, and smoothness, red wines are aged in first and second fill barrels made of French oak.
We constantly perform microvinifications which allows us to test different harvest dates, parcels, and agricultural and enological practices that result in elegant wines with great aromatic complexity.
