“Award-Winning Wines From an Unexplored Terroir”

ALBARIÑO
As in Galicia, this varietal reaches a refined expression in the limestone soils of Balcarce. The plant’s foliage is balanced, and the thin sunlight the grapes receive allows an unhurried ripening that leads to a complex and rich fruit expression with soft mineral notes. Berries ripen with balanced sugar and acidity, favoring fresh and, at the same time, well-structured, unctuous.

CABERNET FRANC
Cabernet Franc ripens unhurriedly in Balcarce, achieving good aromatic complexity. This creates a balance between sugar and acidity, producing an authentic wine that requires no adjustments.
-
PINOT NOIR
This ancestral grape variety, so noble and peculiar, brings us one of the best exponents in Puerta del Abra. We first knew about Pinot Noir as a great base for sparkling wine, but along the way we rediscovered its greatest version as red wine: perfect elegance, aging potential, tension, varietal typicity, and a distinct character in its complexity, fruitiness, acidity, and evolution in the glass.

RIESLING
Riesling ripens unhurriedly in Balcarce, achieving great aromatic complexity. Harmonious blend of freshness and minerality that integrates and evolves on a smooth and unctuous palate. Our soils, rich in organic matter and microorganisms, are a great place for this wine’s character to develop. The presence of limestone seams enhances its mineral expression.

TANNAT
In our limestone and biodiverse soils, Tannat adds the mineral notes that are typical of these terroirs to its profile of red and black fruits. The combination of soil and climate results in a rich and pleasant wine in which tannins have matured smoothly. Strong winds in this area naturally limit fruit setting and the number of berries in each bunch. This lets the grapes get enough sun and fully ripen.
